D. Lee Carruthers has extensive experience as an architect, designer and architectural illustrator in Philadelphia. He has worked as an architect and designer for major architectural firms in Atlanta, Ga. and Philadelphia, Pa. As principal in his own architectural firm, he was responsible for the design, documentation and supervision of commercial projects in the Philadelphia area. He has focused on architectural illustration and design consulting in past years. As a consultant, he has worked, in house, for several firms in the Philadelphia area focusing on conceptual design. As an illustrator, he has provided both traditional and digital drawings for architects, institutions and developers. His interest is in accelerating the design process by generating images and presenting design as a cohesive visual dialogue.
